Lets face it, immigration made the US what it is today, only 3% of current citizens are native. After all the effort put into this country, one would think immigrants have a surplus of rights. Here's what we think is most beneficial to our immigrants:

  1. Anti-Discrimination:

    1. Multiple Florida laws protect immigrants from discrimination in the workplace, housing, accommodations, etc.

  2. Deportation Orders:

    1. As an immigrant, you have the right to a hearing and to challenge a deportation, as long as you don't waive that right as they are booking you.

  3. Remaining Silent:

    1. You are not obligated to express your immigration status with officers, ICE, or anybody for that matter.

  4. Equality:

    1. No matter your immigration status, you have the exact same rights as the citizens of the US, as long as you are living here.
